Coaching Overview - How do we influence Psychology?
Learn to use models to become the best coach possible
When we look at the leaders in our industry they have similar characteristics. Maybe it is innate and whatever we become is predetermined. However, the person who wants to be a great coach probably does not truly believe this is predetermined. The person who wants to be a great coach believes that we can develop ourselves to become whatever it is we want to become.
The Foundations Course is going to focus on the 'Models'. It is not a checklist or a to-do list to become great. It is a collection of skills and characteristics that collectively make a great coach. Possibly you are good in a particular area and you want to bypass a certain module. Possibly you want to learn more about an area and you want to dive into that section. That is up to you to determine. You will see resources and books that will help you elaborate on a subject and do a deeper dive. Again finding more information on a subject is up to you and the pace and the direction you feel comfortable with.
You will receive a package with your Foundations Workbook and a copy of the book

Each Lesson has a lecture that ties into the Workbook you will receive in the mail. This is interactive learning, just plowing through the lectures will do nothing in terms of helping your learning. Go through each lecture and workbook assignment one by one. Take the time to go through the corresponding model within the lesson. That will make the lecture and the workbook more 'sticky' as an idea and concept to integrate within your setting.
